This application proposes the selective re-pollarding of a tree by approximately one third in late spring on an annual basis.

Section 211 notice to selectively re-pollarded by approximately one third in late spring each year, once in full leaf. Removing the largest limbs back to the established pollard knuckles, while retaining the smaller limbs to mature before they are removed in turn as they increase in size. This phased approach should ensure that approximately two thirds of the crown remains viable at all times .
